Below is an overview of the procedures related to drones (UAS) proposed by the UAS Department. For each procedure, you will find the appropriate submission channel as well as the recommended timeframe to ensure prompt processing of your request.

  • Registering as a UAS operator:
  • Declaration of operation under a standard scenario STS:
  • Declaration to provide and assess training for a standard scenario STS-01 and/or STS-02:
  • Application for operational authorisation in the SPECIFIC category:
    • Application via Guichet.lu
    • Submission: a minimum of 6 weeks before the date of the intended operation
  • Application for a cross-border operation (CBO)  in the SPECIFICQUE category:
    • Application via Guichet.lu
    • Submission: a minimum of 10 working days before the date of the intended operation
  • Application for authorization to access a UAS geographical zone:
    • Application via Geoportal.lu
    • Submission : a minimum of 10 working days before the date of the intended operation.

Note: We cannot guarantee the processing and assessment of your application if it is submitted late. In addition, incomplete or complex applications may require additional processing time.
