Temporary ban on drone flights – National Day

As part of the security measures in place for National Day, drone operations are strictly prohibited on the following dates and in the following zones:

1.       From 22 June 2026 at 17:00 to 23 June 2026 at 06:00

• Zone EL-UAS-TEVT-2026-07
  • Vertical limits: from ground level up to 120 m
  • Lateral limits: 493710N 060700E; 493721N 060757E; 493626N 060825E; 493612N 060727E; 493710N 060700E

2.       On 23 June 2026 from 07:00 to 18:00

• Zone EL-UAS-TEVT-2026-08
  • Vertical limits: from ground level up to 120 m
  • Lateral limits: circle with a 200 m radius centered on 493709N 0060832E

• Zone EL-UAS-TEVT-2026-09
  • Vertical limits: from ground level up to 120 m
  • Lateral limits: 493720N 060654E; 493730N 060653E; 493602N 060838E; 493552N 060713E; 493720N 060654E

3.       On 18 and 19 June 2026 from 12:00 to 14:00

• Zone WEST
  • Vertical limits: from the surface up to 2500 ft AMSL
  • Lateral limits: 494559N 0055218E – 494636N 0060646E – 494158N 0060835E – 493825N 0060029E – 493140N 0055917E – 493241N 0055113E – 493423N 0055203E – along the Belgian-Luxembourg border – 493945N 0055444E – 494559N 0055218E
• Zone CTR

4.       On 23 June 2026 from 11:00 to 14:00

• Zone WEST
  • Vertical limits: from the surface up to 2500 ft AMSL
  • Lateral limits: 494559N 0055218E – 494636N 0060646E – 494158N 0060835E – 493825N 0060029E – 493140N 0055917E – 493241N 0055113E – 493423N 0055203E – along the Belgian-Luxembourg border – 493945N 0055444E – 494559N 0055218E
• Zone CTR

This prohibition shall not apply to the following specific operations carried out in the public interest:

1. military, police and customs missions,
2. traffic surveillance and pursuits,
3. search and rescue,
4. medical flights,
5. evacuations,
6. firefighting.
