In accordance with Regulation (EU) No 139/2014, any change affecting:
- the terms of the certificate, the basis of certification and the equipment of the aerodrome being of critical importance; or
- significantly of the elements of the aerodrome operator's management system in accordance with paragraph ADR.OR.D.005 b)
requires prior approval from the DAC.
The term "change" means the establishment of a new functional system respectively the modification of an existing functional system. It may include technical changes to components or the implementation of new components, tasks or work procedures.
Preventive or curative maintenance, respectively the replacement of equipment by other equivalent equipment does not require prior approval from the DAC.
